Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Paul Schlanger LLC (“Paul Schlanger,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit paulschlanger.com (the “Site”), request our free book, or otherwise interact with our franchise consulting services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Site or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who We Are

Paul Schlanger LLC operates a national franchise consulting practice that helps individuals evaluate and select franchise opportunities. Our advisory services are provided free of charge to prospective franchise buyers; we are compensated by franchisors when a match is made.

For any privacy-related questions, contact us at hello@paulschlanger.com or (561) 366-2462.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

When you fill out a form on our Site — such as requesting our free book Exit Interview, a franchise readiness assessment, or contacting us — we may collect:

  • Your first and last name;
  • Your email address;
  • Your phone number;
  • Any message or other details you choose to include; and
  • Information you share with us during consultations or correspondence.

Information we collect automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Device and browser information (such as IP address, browser type, and operating system);
  • Usage information (such as pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits); and
  • Referral information (such as the website or ad that brought you to our Site).

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the Site, understand how it is used, and measure and improve our advertising. These include:

  • Google Tag Manager and Google services — to manage tags and analyze Site traffic and performance.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel — to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant ads to you and similar audiences on Meta platforms.
  • Form and marketing tools — our lead and contact forms are powered by a third-party customer-engagement platform (see “How We Share Information” below).

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. You can also opt out of certain interest-based advertising through tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance and your device’s ad settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site functions.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver the free book, resources, or other materials you request;
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide franchise consulting services;
  • Send you related communications, updates, and offers (you can opt out at any time);
  • Operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Site and our Services;
  • Measure and optimize our marketing and advertising; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, our users, and the public.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information in the following ways:

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, including our customer-engagement and form platform (LeadConnector / HighLevel), email and hosting providers, and analytics and advertising partners such as Google and Meta. These providers may only use the information to provide services to us.
  • Franchisors and referral partners. If you ask us to help you evaluate franchise opportunities, we may share relevant details with franchisors or referral partners as part of providing the consulting service you requested.
  • Advertising partners. Our use of tools like the Meta Pixel and Google tags may involve sharing certain online identifiers with those platforms for analytics and targeted advertising. Under some state laws, this type of sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising. You may opt out as described in Sections 3 and 7.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Paul Schlanger LLC, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site you visit.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You have the following choices regarding your information:

  • Marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by emailing us at hello@paulschlanger.com.
  • Cookies and ads. You can manage cookies through your browser and opt out of interest-based advertising as described in Section 3.
  • Access and deletion. You may request that we provide, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to certain legal exceptions.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@paulschlanger.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

8. Florida Residents’ Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of Florida, you may have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights and other applicable Florida law, to the extent they apply to us. These may include the right to:

  • Confirm whether we are processing your personal information and access that information;
  • Correct inaccuracies in your personal information;
  • Request deletion of your personal information;
  • Obtain a copy of the personal information you previously provided; and
  • Opt out of the processing of your personal information for targeted advertising or the sale of personal information.

To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@paulschlanger.com. You will not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. If we deny your request, you may have the right to appeal by replying to our response.

9. Data Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide our Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond, our Site does not currently respond to these signals.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Site and Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
